Play I am in 'Foreigners"

So a fella has got to grow and broaden his horizons and scope!! I diverted from comedy this summer to be in this wild show - “Information for Foreigners”, a crazy and fun play (well fun for the actors..gripping for the audience) up north near I-36 and Federal. It’s FREE, so you can come a couple times over the summer if you like. The 73rd. Ave. Theatre Company presents this educational and social awareness experience- June 16 to August 25 at the 73rd. Avenue Playhouse, 7287 Lowell Blvd. in Westminster. Performances are every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

This piece is a unique interactive adventure in which the audience walks from scene to scene watching the play. The play confronts us with the repression suffered by civilians from the oppressive governments of South America. It is for mature/adult audiences, 16 and up…if you know those 18-35 years olds that may not fully understand the true freedom we enjoy here in America typically, by all means bring them along to see what it looks like when freedom (even life) is threatened. Though heavy themes, adult language, and intense…many scenes are in odd satire and animation, with crazy antics that entertain and at times confuse…it will not all be dark/harsh, and likely you will never see the likes of it again. See the web site for this and other upcoming shows/auditions. www.the73rdavenuetheatrecompany.com

By the way, other great options here are: “The Wizard of Oz”..a childrens show, on Saturdays at 1:30 and Sundays at 11:00 through June 28. “The Pirates of Penzance,” July 10 to August 23, my dsughter Holly in this one. The National Premiere of “Muriel’s Memoirs”* September 4 to October 4. “And Then There Were None” by Agatha Christie, October 16 to November 22. A December holiday show to be announced.
